Coaches Statement: “Vocal leader. Incredibly driven and goal oriented. At the plate she hits with a ton of power from the left side. Turns a lot of at bats into quality at bats (68.29 QAB%). Hits the ball around the field well. Sneaky fast and aggressive on the base path. Defensively the leader in the infield. Solid fielder that can move. High IQ player. In the circle good left handed pitcher. Moves the ball around with a variety of pitches. Good glove and good feet at 1B. Can mix in playing in right field for versatility.”

Head Coach – Ryan Crosby
Diversified sports background, including high school baseball and football. Graduate of 2002 Harry Wendelstedt Umpire School with over a decade of baseball umpiring experience. Dad (Jeff) was long time varsity baseball coach and football coach. Uncle (Jon) was athletic director at multiple D-1 programs including San Diego State, San Jose State, and University of Houston. Brother (Jeff) is a college football coach at the University of Texas.
Married to 2-time D-2 All-American Volleyball player (CSUB) Amy Crosby (Wade) with 4 children, Kate, Lola, Dagny and Jaxson.

Skills Coach/ Recruiting Liaison – Lauren Sweet
Lauren was the starting catcher for the University of Michigan softball team from 2011-2015. Sweet received honors for first team and second team All Big Ten, NFCA Great Lakes All-Region first team and Academic All-Big Ten honors.
In her time at Michigan, Lauren and her team won 4 Big Ten titles and took 2 trips to the Women’s College World Series. They competed in the national championship series her senior year. After her college career, Lauren went on to play 2 seasons with the USSSA Pride in the National Pro FastPitch League. Since then, she has had coaching experience at the high school and college level. She also runs her training business where she specializes in catching and hitting training.
Lauren assist our catchers, along with team offense and defense work.
As our recruiting liaison Lauren relies on her years of experience and knowledge to help our players on their recruiting journey
Speed/Agility – Outfield Coach – Tanner Henry
Tanner was a multi-sport college athlete at Azusa Pacific University in California where he ran track and played wide receiver for the football team. He was a National Champion in the 400 hurdles, a 5 time All American, and a captain of the football team. Since his college career, Tanner has started a training business where he specializes in speed and agility. He has several years of experience running speed and agility programs for different organizations including soccer, softball, baseball and hockey club teams. His specialty is first step mechanics, a power tool on the softball field.
Tanner runs our speed and agility program and is our outfielders coach. Speed kills!
